Disability insurance provides income replacement should something happen to you that prevents you from working.

Short-Term Disability (STD)

Short-Term Disability provides income replacement for illness or injury that lasts longer than 7 days. UMG will continue to pay your salary for up to 12 weeks at 100% with the following 14 weeks at up to 60%, coordinated with any disability benefits you are entitled to receive. This benefit is provided at no cost to you.

Long-Term Disability (LTD)

Long-Term Disability provides income replacement if you experience an extended illness or injury that lasts longer than 180 days. There are two options for LTD:

Voluntary LTD*

In addition to Basic LTD, you have the option to purchase additional LTD coverage of 60% income replacement to a maximum of $20,000 per month. This benefit is employee-paid.
